Front part of a hay mower
This custom-made animal-drawn front end is used for mowing meadows and can be attached to a tedder or a windrower thanks to its rear power take-off.
Power transmission is carried out by the 2 wheels.
It is composed of:
- a Busatis/ESM type mower bar - length 1.90m
- an adjustable front stabilizing idler wheel
- an axle equipped with a differential, pneumatic wheels, and a braking system
- a clutch pedal
- a rear power take-off and a hitch on a clevis
- a seat with shock absorber. Adjustable height and width
- a manual lever coupled with a winch to raise the mower bar
- transmission by chains and belts.
