Connecting with the Earth's cycles, discovering and reappropriating the rhythm of the seasons, creating links with nature enriches children's lives and fosters their development, and this is what the L'École de la forêt pedagogy proposes. This guide presents a selection of games and crafts to encourage children aged 3 to 11 to develop new skills by exploring nature, and to offer them a resourcing space that contributes to their well-being. With the seasons in mind, it enables parents and teachers to offer educational and stimulating activities in open environments: in spring, model a clay rabbit, weave a bramble rope; in summer, draw with quill pen and mulberry ink and make walking sticks; in autumn, build a wooden hut and carve stakes; in winter, build a canvas shelter and gather around a fire..

A truly original toolbox for happy, fulfilled children.
