Pruners Okatsune 207
The Okatsune 207 spruce is sturdy and lightweight (120 g). Its very sharp pointed blades with a thickness of 3.3 mm are strong enough to cut small branches and thin enough to penetrate vegetation. This allows you to make a clean cut in hard-to-reach areas without damaging the surrounding stems. This pruner is also ideal for maintaining your bonsai, for trimming, sculpting, and thinning your plants. Additionally, this pruner is perfectly suited for cutting flowers with its sharp and razor-like blades. This versatile spruce falls between pruning shears and scissors.

Features:
- Sharpened like a razor blade for a consistently clean cut;
- Simple design, for optimal and easy use;
- Ultra-lightweight and particularly sturdy.
The blades of these Japanese scissors (Bonsai Basami) are forged from Izumo Yasugi steel and have a very high hardness of 60.0 to 61.0 on the Rockwell scale. Therefore, the blades stay sharp longer and always provide a precise and clean cut through wood effortlessly. Additionally, Okatsune combines hardness with special flexibility, so the blade always stays aligned with the counter blade and doesn't break.
The blade is sharpened at two angles, ensuring a smooth cut through the wood without unnecessarily damaging the plant. With its unique hollow shape at the base, the blade allows sap to flow, and the blades do not spread apart. The V-shaped spring evenly distributes the force along the entire length of the spring, ensuring a smooth closure.
Maintenance
The scissors are made with components that require some maintenance. It is recommended to clean the blades after use and oil them occasionally. Store them, with the blades closed, away from moisture. If you notice that the blades are not cutting as well, you can sharpen them with a sharpening stone.
