Hayauchi 4-section pole saw with 480 blade
The Hayauchi telescopic saw provides access to hard-to-reach areas, making it the top choice for professional pruners and communities! This lightweight and easy-to-handle telescopic pole saw allows you to prune for long hours while minimizing fatigue. The Hayauchi's 480mm curved blade is equipped with Silky 4-RETSUME teeth, enabling deep cuts in wood, quick cutting of thicker branches, and flexibility for both push and pull sawing. It can handle large volumes of wood! Additionally, the blade can be adjusted to two different angles for pruning at higher levels or closer to the ground.

The two knives integrated into the blade contribute to optimal pruning. The lower knife prevents branches from tearing by cutting the bark as they fall, while the upper knife keeps the blade in the groove. The lower knife is also used to cut twigs and dead branches on the trunk.
The oval-shaped aluminum pole provides precise control of the blade, crucial for pruning at height. Additionally, its oval shape provides strength and rigidity along the entire length of the pole saw, minimizing bending.
The two locking systems (push buttons and levers) ensure a stable and secure locking of the desired pole length. The bottom of the pole is coated with a rubber grip for comfortable handling, and a buffer at the end protects the pole from falls and impacts.
If you are using the Hayauchi for the first time, start by cutting lower branches to familiarize yourself with pruning techniques and remember to prioritize your safety by wearing a helmet and standing in a secure area, away from falling branches.
The name Hayauchi is a combination of the Japanese words "fast" (haya) and "sawing" (uchi).
Available options:
HookFox attachment to mount under the blade: allows for easy release of jammed branches by pulling downwards. Also practical for placing or retrieving your climbing rope at the top of the tree.
The Ibuki blade also fits on the Hayauchi. This blade without a knife is advantageous for sawing through dense vegetation, such as that found in large fruit trees.
The blade must remain clean to maintain its effectiveness. Resin dissolves with olive oil, a natural way to maintain the blade.
After using the saw, make sure it is completely dry before storing it. Put the sheath back on the blade and store the saw in a dry place.
Remember to frequently check that the blade screws are securely tightened.
