Pruning with a pruning hook is often quicker than with a saw or lopper. The Nata is a tool somewhere between an axe and a knife, forged and tempered from SKS-51 (JIS) steel. The molded rubber handle absorbs impact well, so vibrations are hardly transmitted to the hand or arm.
The Nata is available in two versions:
-single-sided sharpening, for pruning branches and removing bark
-double sharpening (sharpening on two sides), for splitting wood.
The Nata is available in 4 lengths: 150 mm, 180 mm, 210 mm and 240 mm in both single- and double-sharpening versions.
General information
The blade must be kept clean to maintain its effectiveness. Resin dissolves with olive oil, a natural way of maintaining the blade. More aggressive solvents will damage the handle.
After use, store your tools thoroughly dried and always in their sheaths, away from moisture.
